Media Alert Invite - 2013 AJAC Eco-Run - Ottawa to Montreal
OTTAWA, June 3, 2013 /CNW/ -
WHAT:
Gas prices are on the rise and there is something that consumers can do about it. In fact, the auto industry offers a whole range of fuel-efficient choices. Accordingly, our association is organising a media and automotive industry event call the Eco-Run. The event intends to demonstrate fuel-efficient solutions to the gasoline price crisis; including a broad spectrum of fuel-efficient choices that are on the market today. They include hybrids, EVs and other advanced conventional technologies. These technologies combined with Eco-friendly driving habits will make a difference. Journalists who are members of AJAC will drive the 21 participating vehicles demonstrating how you can safely save on fuel and vehicle maintenance costs by adopting a few driving techniques, and following some basic tips. Eco-Run is a 3-day event starting In Ottawa with many stops enroute to a finish on Thursday in Montreal.
