Are Moms Facing Too Much Pressure To Be Perfect?
Online photography exhibit by Baby Dove shows there are no perfect moms, just real ones.
TORONTO, May 2, 2017 /CNW/ - 99 per cent of Canadian moms feel pressure to be a perfect parent, and 81 per cent wonder if what they are doing as a mother is good enough.
To call attention to the issue and to encourage new parents to trust their way, Baby Dove has launched a national campaign that features a series of raw and unfiltered photos depicting the beautifully real moments of first-time parents with their babies.
Captured by some of the world's top renowned photographers, Ami Vitale and Lynsey Addario and Vancouver-based photographer Eran Sudds, document over the course of 48-hours the joys and challenges Canadian moms face.
To weigh in on this issue, Toronto-based pediatrician, Dr. Dina Kulik, is available for interview to discuss the results from a new study on motherhood and to offer tips to alleviate the stress of being a new parent.
