Media Alert - Teen from Tantallon Concludes Cross-Canada Clothing Drive in Halifax

2023 Matthew Gordon Clothing Drive (CNW Group/The Salvation Army Maritime Division)

What:	In partnership with Canadian National (CN) and The Salvation Army, donations for the Matthew Gordon Annual Clothing Drive will arrive in Halifax on Friday.
	In 2017, Ken Gordon was checking cargo on his truck when he was struck by a vehicle on Highway 103. To honour his memory, his son Matthew, aged 10, decided to collect clothing for The Salvation Army - a place that had always made his father feel safe and supported when seeking help during his struggles with alcoholism. Friday marks Matthew's eighth-straight year of leading this initiative.
