TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2020 /CNW/ - November 1st marks the beginning of the 14th annual Movember campaign in Canada, where Canadians from coast to coast will Grow, Move or Host to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
To kick-off this year's efforts, Toronto Fire Services and Brampton Fire and Emergency Services will bring their Movember themed fire trucks together to officially commence The Great Canadian Fire Challenge, where firefighters across the country come together (virtually) to raise funds and awareness for men's health. Last year, more than 1,500 firefighters on 200 teams, representing every province and territory in Canada, raised nearly $450,000 to stop men dying too young.
