What: Media are invited to the official opening ceremony of "Body, Mind, Spirit 2010: National Conference For Young Women Living With Breast Cancer" in Toronto. From October 29 to 31st, attendees can participate in more than 35 educational workshops with Canadian breast cancer experts and share survivor stories with special guest speakers.
Who: Joy Smith, Member of Parliament for Kildonan-St. Paul (Manitoba) and Chair, House of Commons Standing Committee on Health is the guest speaker for the official opening of the national conference. She brings greetings from the Minister of Health, The Honorable Ms. Leona Aglukkaq. When: October 30, 2010, 7:30 am.

Details: The Canadian Breast Cancer Network and co-presenter Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation host 400 women with breast cancer to educate them in all aspects of their cancer journey.
Agenda: More than 35 workshops include: Babies After Breast Cancer; Understanding Your Pathology Report; BRCA: It's in the Genes (management options, fertility and psychosocial issues); Breast Reconstruction: Knowing Your Options; Intimacy and Sexuality (for couples and single ladies), and Financial Health For Women on Long-Term Disability. Guest speakers also include: Bif Naked, Canadian rocker and breast cancer survivor, and Yvonne Jones, Leader of the Official Opposition in Newfoundland, and recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
