Media Alert/Photo Opportunity - Canadian Tire Jumpstart celebrates the
official declaration of Jumpstart Day in Toronto
TORONTO, May 27 /CNW/ - On May 27th, Canadian Tire Jumpstart invites you to Yonge-Dundas Square to celebrate its second annual Jumpstart Day. Every kid deserves the chance to play, yet one in three families in Canada cannot afford to enrol their kids in organized sports and recreation. Canadian Tire Jumpstart helps these families by providing them with the financial resources needed to get their kids in the game.
Jumpstart Day will include a breakfast, hosted by the Toronto Jumpstart Chapter, as well as an opportunity for everyone to get in on the action by jumping for Jumpstart on the world's safest trampolines from Springfree and Springfree trampoline athletes, across Yonge-Dundas Square. To celebrate the initiative, Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone will officially declare May 29th as Jumpstart Day in the City of Toronto. Canadian Tire locations across Canada will donate $2.00 for every customer purchase on May 29th to help give 20,000 children the chance to get off the sidelines this summer.
