Media Availability - Engineering & Construction Industries to Provide Reaction to Budget 2017

ACEC and CCA will comment on effectiveness and efficiency of infrastructure investments and their impact on the economy and quality of life for Canadians

WHO:	The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Canada represents nearly 500 firms that offer professional engineering services in a wide range of engineering and engineering-related fields. ACEC member firms directly employ close to 70,000 Canadians.
	The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) represents more than 20,000 member firms who are contractors, suppliers and allied business professionals working in, or with, Canada's non-residential construction industry. CCA represents the construction industry that employs more than 1.3 million Canadians annually.
WHAT:	John Gamble, President of ACEC and Michael Atkinson, President of CCA will be hosting a media conference call to speak to details in Budget 2017 on which both industries have great expertise, with emphasis on the Government's continued commitment to infrastructure spending.  This includes expected details on Phase 2 of its $186 billion infrastructure plan and the Canada Infrastructure Bank.
