OTTAWA, May 7, 2019 /CNW/ - During the opening ceremony of the 67th annual Canadian Tulip Festival, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Canada, in partnership with the Festival, the National Capital Commission, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and the Royal Canadian Legion will announce the kick-off of a national Commemorative Planting Campaign in preparation for the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands in the Spring of 2020.
Media are invited to attend the opening and unveil on Friday, May 10th, where representatives from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Canadian Tulip Festival and National Capital Commission will be present.
