Media availability: CUPE 3550 to hold women's day event
EDMONTON, March 7, 2019 /CNW/ - CUPE Local 3550, representing support staff at Edmonton Public Schools will host a Womens' Day event on Friday at Grovenor School.
The event will be attended by CUPE members, grade 4-6 girls, their mothers and women professionals from the community to celebrate.
Marlene Hanson of Diversity Education at Edmonton public will speak.
CUPE 3550 will provide lunch and refreshments and make a donation to the school to purchase books that celebrate women and girls.
