Media Bulletin - Area advance polls open until February 25
TORONTO, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - Eligible electors living in the Electoral District of Ottawa West-Nepean can vote at advance polls this week until February 25.
Advance voting will continue at the Returning Office from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Additional area advance polls are open February 23 to February 25 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the following locations:
Ottawa West YMCA-YWCA 200 Lockhart Avenue, Ottawa Bayshore Recreation Centre 98 Woodridge Crescent, Ottawa Ben Franklin Place 101 Centrepointe Drive, Ottawa
Eligible electors who did not receive a Notice of Registration card and whose names are not on the Voters List can have their name added at the advance poll and cast their ballot while there. To have their name added to the List, electors must show documents that provide proof of identity and proof of residence.
To receive their ballot, electors will be asked to state their name and place of residence and show proof of identity to the poll officials. Electors who are on the Voters List, but do not have proof of identity, can make a statutory declaration.
To be eligible to vote, on Election Day a person must be:
- 18 years of age or older, and - a Canadian citizen, and - a resident of the Electoral District of Ottawa West-Nepean
Electors who ceased to live in Ontario within the two years before polling day may be entitled to vote under certain conditions and should contact Elections Ontario for more information.
