Media Bulletin - Ottawa West-Nepean electors should watch their mail for a
Notice of Registration card
TORONTO, Feb. 16 /CNW/ - Electors in the Electoral District of Ottawa West-Nepean should watch the mail for their Notice of Registration cards.
Cards were sent to all electors whose name appears on the Preliminary List of Electors. Each card shows the address where the elector is registered and gives the address, date and hours of operation of the advance polls and Election Day voting location where he or she can vote.
Electors in the Electoral District of Ottawa West-Nepean who do not receive a Notice of Registration card by February 19 should contact the returning office at 1-866-532-3157, as this may mean their information is not up-to-date or they are not on the Voters List.
Electors who are not on the Voters List but who are otherwise eligible to vote - that is, Canadian citizens who are 18 years of age or older on March 4 and reside in the Electoral District of Ottawa West-Nepean - may still vote. To be added to the Voters List, they must provide proof of identity and proof of residence. Minor corrections to elector information, like a misspelled name or address, may be made when the elector goes to vote at an advance poll or on Election Day.
Electors who wish to confirm their voting location or who need more information on voting or accommodations for disabilities or other special needs, can visit www.elections.on.ca or call the local returning office at 1-866-532-3157.
