ORILLIA, ON, Feb. 1, 2012 /CNW/ - The members of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet have laid numerous charges in connection with a co-ordinated, province-wide child pornography investigation.
OPP Acting Commissioner Scott TOD will announce details about the investigation. Also attending will be representatives of the Provincial Strategy police partners and other participating law enforcement agencies, who were instrumental in bringing this investigation to a successful conclusion. Representatives of the Canadian Association of Internet Providers (CAIP) and BOOST Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention, a multi-service agency that coordinates community responses to child abuse will be among those available for one-on-one interviews following the media conference.
