MONTREAL, May 20, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Make-A-Wish® / Fais-Un-VoeuMD Quebec is launching an all new event called Rope for Hope to help grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The fundraising event will take place on May 29th and 30th 2014, offering an out-of-the ordinary experience. Participants will have the chance to rappel down Place du Canada, a 24-storey landmark building, located downtown Montreal.

Thursday, May 29 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Media Day Journalists and employees of the media are invited to come and live this exhilarating experience. This special day also brings together children, families and friends of Make-A-Wish / Fais-Un-Voeu Quebec. This is a perfect opportunity to experience an exciting time alone, with friends and co-workers or to challenge a colleague!
Friday, May 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Event Day 60 participants will be rappelling from great heights in a festive atmosphere that includes wish children and their families, Montreal's SWAT team, super-heroes and princesses. |

Make-A-Wish® / Fais-Un-VoeuMD Quebec grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience by bringing hope, strength and joy. The Foundation is a member of the Make-A-Wish International family, the world's largest non-profit wish granting organization for children. Present in 50 countries, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 324,00 wishes since its creation in 1980. All funds raised in Quebec are intended to carry out the wishes of children in Quebec.
