MONTREAL, Feb. 19, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - La Coop fédérée will hold its 96th Annual General Meeting on February 21st and 22nd at the Sheraton Center in Montreal. The organization will release its financial results and present its positioning strategy in a changing marketplace.
Media representatives are cordially invited to a press conference on February 22nd at noon in Room 1 on the 2nd floor of Le Centre Sheraton Hotel in Montreal. Ghislain Gervais, President, and Gaétan Desroches, Chief Executive Officer, will address the attending media and partners.
Also on hand for interviews will be Sébastien Léveillé, Executive Vice-President of La Coop fédérée's Agri-Business Division; Réjean Nadeau, President and Chief Executive Officer of Olymel; Pascal Houle, Chief Executive Officer of Groupe BMR; and Paul Noiseux, Chief Financial Officer of La Coop fédérée.
La Coop fédérée is the largest agri-food group in Quebec and the only pan-Canadian agricultural cooperative. It has 90,000 members and employs over 13,000 people across its three divisions: Agri-Business, Olymel S.E.C. and Groupe BMR. La Coop fédérée is the 16th largest employer in Quebec.
