Including caregivers, there are near 500,000 Quebeckers living day-to-day a constant fight. Last March, The Health and Social Services Minister, Dr. Gaétan Barrette reopened the Medical Aid in Dying file. What are the thoughts and opinions of caregivers on the matter?

To commemorate the World Alzheimer's Day, Mrs. Gina Bravo, Professor and Researcher at UNIVERSITÉ DE SHERBROOKE, Faculty of Medecine and Health Sciences and the REASEARCH CENTRE ON AGING OF CIUSSS-ESTRIE – CHUS, has been invited by the FQAS to unveil for the very first time, the results of the first phase of her study which notably examines what are the thoughts of Quebec's caregivers in extending Medical Aid in Dying to incapacitated people.

Me Jean-Pierre Ménard, lawyer, Martin, Ménard Avocats, will be presenting a follow-up to this day on Medical Aid in Dying in Québec and in Canada.
Lise Lalande, General Director, the Laval Alzheimer Society, will be presenting a point a view from the field's perspective.
Sabrina Lacoste, a young woman and student of 21 years of age, ex-caregiver of her father Guy, affected by Alzheimer's disease and who died last May, will deliver a vibrant testimonial and will present a young adult's point of view on Medical Aid in Dying.
