Media Invitation - 12th annual De la rue aux étoiles event: Montreal's favourite food trucks come together to help homeless youth!
MONTREAL, Sept. 12, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Dans la rue is pleased to announce that the De la rue aux étoiles fundraiser is back again this year, with an unbeatable lineup of the city's most popular food trucks.
Das Food Truck, Grumman '78, Traiteur Guru, Phoenix 1, Le Petit Trianon and Crémy Pâtisserie will all be competing for top honours in this much-anticipated haute street cuisine contest. A full lineup of music and other entertainment will add even more flavour to the gourmet extravaganza. A silent auction will be ongoing throughout the evening, with several fabulous prizes up for grabs. Also in attendance will be the culinary whizzes behind such high-profile dining establishments as Buonanotte, Impasto, Le Pois Penché and Le St-Urbain.
The honorary co-chairs for the event are actor and author Christian Bégin and Montreal Gazette food critic Lesley Chesterman. The festivities will be emceed by none other than Bob le Chef.
Proceeds from the event will go to support Dans la rue, an organization that helps homeless youth get back on their feet.
