Media Invitation - A celebration of the gift of life that highlights the
importance of donating human tissues and organs

QUÉBEC CITY, Aug. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - Québec-Transplant and Héma-Québec invite media representatives to take part in the Organ and Tissue Donor Family Day that will be held on Wednesday, August 11 as part of the fifth edition of the Canadian Transplant Games.

Transplant recipients will be on site to express their gratitude to donors and their families for the chance they have been given to benefit from a transplant, a second breath of life. They will take the opportunity to remind the public about the importance of indicating their intention to donate their organs and tissues upon death.

Media representatives are invited to come and meet transplant recipients at a ceremony where athletes will be presented with medals by the families of donors.

Representatives of Québec-Transplant and Héma-Québec will also be available to answer questions from journalists.
