Media Invitation - A rare birth in captivity - Be the First to See the Lynx Cub at the Biodôme Français
MONTREAL, Aug. 13, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to join the Biodôme team to see the official arrival of the lynx cub and his mother in the Laurentian Maple Forest ecosystem. This birth, we should point out again, was a very special event. Reproduction by animals in captivity, and particularly the Canada lynx, is quite rare.
Starting on Wednesday, visitors will be able to watch the cub exploring his new environment, accompanied by his mother - who sticks very close! The young lynx will probably play hide and seek, learn to climb trees, leap from rock to rock … and return to his mother for reassurance.
Be the first to see this new member of the big Biodôme family up close.
