Media Invitation - A splash of colour for the Place-Normandie housing project - 1st MU Mural in Montreal North

Event:	MU and the Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal cordially invite media representatives to the unveiling of the WE ARE HERE triptych mural by artists Arnaud Grégoire and Cyril Blanchard at the Place Normandie housing project.
	The event will be held in the presence of Richard Deschamps, Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee of the Ville de Montréal and Member Responsible for Services to Citizens, Gilles Deguire, Montreal North Borough Mayor and Member of the Executive Committee, and Denis Quirion, Executive Director of the Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal (OMHM). Tenant and project participant Nancy Lacasse will speak about her experience with the project. The artists, Arnaud Grégoire and Cyril Blanchard, will also be present.

Place:	Place Normandie housing project (6320-6326 Chartrand St.), Montreal North
Guests of honour:	Richard Deschamps, Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee, Ville de Montréal Gilles Deguire, Montreal North Borough Mayor Emmanuelle Hébert, Co-founder of MU Denis Quirion, Executive Director, Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal (OMHM)
	In addition to the artists, tenants who participated in the initiative will also attend.
Background:	The We are here triptych mural was painted by Arnaud Grégoire with the assistance of Cyril Blanchard. Grégoire is an emerging artist who grew up in Montreal North.
	The production of this mural in a public area is part of an ongoing partnership established six years ago between MU and the OMHM. The mural was produced in 2012 at the Place Normandie housing project, which is celebrating its 40^th anniversary of the housing plan.
