Media invitation - Adopt a Beluga Campaign Launch and Unveiling of its First Sponsors

QUÉBEC CITY, Nov. 7, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Group for Research and Education on Marine Mammals (GREMM) invites media representatives to the kick-off of the Adopt a Beluga campaign and the presentation of its first sponsors.

The event will take place in the presence of Mr. Robert Michaud, GREMM President and Scientific Director and coordinator of the St. Lawrence Beluga Project, Mr. Régis Labeaume, mayor of Québec City, Ms. Chantal Rouleau, Montréal's executive committee member responsible for water and water infrastructure, and Ms. Lilia Khodjet El Khil, Manager, Sustainable Development at Canada Steamship Lines.

The Adopt a Beluga campaign launch will be the occasion to present the gestures made by the sponsors, reveal the identity of their belugas, and invite the public to discover them on a new web-based platform dedicated to St. Lawrence belugas.
