TORONTO, May 10, 2012 /CNW/ - The first long weekend of summer is coming…cottages are opening…summer holidays are being planned…trips are being organized and parents are thinking about ways to keep their children active and occupied for the summer.

Toys and games are the answer--for outdoor and indoor play!

TIME: 11am to 1pm, Wednesday, May 16^th RAIN OR SHINE

LOCATION: The Toronto Zoo, Africa Picnic Site (2P).

Note: The location is a 5-minute uphill walk from the main entrance.  Zoo staff will direct you, and a courtesy golf cart will be available for media with heavy equipment.  BBQ lunch will be available for media.

EVENT: More than 120 toys, activities and games (from 50 toy companies) will be available for the media to play with; get demonstrated by dozens of kids and/or toy company rep's; and photograph.
