MONTREAL, Dec. 19, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Centraide of Greater Montreal will announce the amount raised by its 2012 campaign on Thursday, December 20, at 10:15 a.m., in the Polyvalente Room of UQAM's Cœur des sciences.
The biggest fund drive in Quebec to fight poverty will benefit more than 370 community agencies that reach 500,000 needy and excluded people in Montreal, in Laval and on the South Shore. Families and youth affected by poverty, people with disabilities, newcomers and seniors are among those who will be helped thanks to this vast campaign.
