400 amateur soccer players will compete to help disadvantaged children and families
MONTREAL, Sept. 4, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Some 400 amateur soccer players will have the privilege of playing for a good cause next weekend on the very same field as the Montreal Impact professional players.
26 teams, made up of employees from Montreal-based companies, will compete for the second annual Centraide Cup at Stade Saputo on September 7 and 8.
All proceeds from this charitable event will go to the 2013 Centraide Campaign and the Montreal Impact Foundation to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children and families.

Admission to the tournament is free for the general public. Soccer fans and their families are invited to come and encourage the players at Stade Saputo on September 7 and 8, from 9am to 4:30pm (games being played all day). The championship game will be played on Sunday at 4pm. Several activities will be offered for both kids and adults: inflatables; a clown show with the Clowns du Carrousel on Saturday, September 7, at noon and music by DJ Don Hamel and the group Orange Orange from noon to 3pm.
