Media invitation - Children's Day 2015 - A family event to announce the results of the Great Food Drive for Children and to sort food donations Français
MONTRÉAL, April 10, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Moisson Montreal team invites media representatives to its Children's Day which will take place at Moisson Montreal on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 8 a.m., to conclude the fourth edition of the Great Food Drive for Children. This gathering will be an occasion to disclose the results of the annual fundraising campaign for babys and toddlers which was held from April 1 to 10, and to sort food donations with volunteers, partners, elected officials, artists and other participants.
Hosted by Josée Boudreault, host at Rythme FM, this family activity will allow children to learn about philanthropy through many fun activities, and adults to show their commitment to 20,000 toddlers living in poverty in the Greater Montreal area.

About the Great Food Drive for Children
Initiated in 2012 by Moisson Montréal, the Great Food Drive for Children is an annual campaign that involves two other major food banks, Moisson Rive-Sud and the Centre de bénévolat et moisson Laval, as well as Uniprix, a new corporate partner. The primary objective of the Great Food Drive for children is to raise monetary donations and food for toddlers, in order to help feed over 20,000 toddlers aged 0-5 living in poverty in the Montreal region.
