Media Invitation - Double Olympic champion Alexandre Bilodeau will be Special Olympics Québec's new ambassador Français
MONTREAL, Jan. 14, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The members of the media are invited to the press conference which will be held tomorrow, January 15, 2015, at 4 p.m. during which double Olympic champion Alexandre Bilodeau will announce his partnership with Special Olympics Québec (SOQ), a not-for-profit organization, as its ambassador.
The press conference will take place in the John-Molson Room located at 1670 Notre-Dame Street East (corner of Papineau). It will be immediately followed by a tribute to the Special Olympics Québec athletes who have distinguished themselves in 2014 and the induction of three leading figures into the Partners' Hall of Fame of Special Olympics Québec.
Three prestigious awards will also be presented. The Sport Celebrity award will be presented to speed skater and Olympic medalist Nathalie Lambert while the Police Department Director award will be presented to Montreal Police Department Director Marc Parent and the Sport Director award to Pierre Boivin, former president and chief executive officer of the Club de hockey Canadien, the Bell Centre and evenko and current president and chief executive officer of Claridge Inc. Anthony Calvillo and Eugène Lapierre who were named to the Partner's Hall of Fame last year will be present for the unveiling of the pennants.
