Media invitation - Dr. Gilles Julien exhibits his works at Maison de la culture Maisonneuve Français
MONTREAL, Nov. 17, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - We are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibit of the works of Dr. Gilles Julien, sculptor.
Dr. Julien is well known for his work with underprivileged children living in difficult circumstances, but less so for his passion for sculpting.
Gilles Julien searches the raw stone for its story. Each figure he carves takes a completely different shape – all smooth and abstract, but each completely individual. He carves the stone to better see and understand. An approach similar to his work with children.
