Media Invitation - Entrepreneurial succession and business transfers: an important issue for Québec and Montréal Français
MONTRÉAL, May 7, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ are pleased to invite members of the press to the RDV Relève Inc. Strategic Forum on May 8 at 7:30 a.m.
A recent survey commissioned by the Board of Trade and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ for RDV Relève Inc. revealed that:
- 73% of those age 20 to 40 have never considered taking over an existing business.
- 1/3 of those age 20 to 40 believe that taking over a business would be less fulfilling than creating one.
Other survey results will be released at the forum.
The Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises, Regulatory Streamlining and Regional Economic Development and the Minister responsible for the Mauricie region, Jean-Denis Girard, will be on hand for the event.
