Media invitation - Grand opening of Valeant Canada's newly improved Steinbach, Manitoba facility

MONTRÉAL, le 21 nov. 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Hon. Kevin Chief, Minister of Jobs and the Economy, and Mr. Charles Perez, Vice-President and General Manager of Bausch + Lomb, a division of Valeant Canada, invite the media to a ribbon cutting event to celebrate the official inauguration of Valeant Canada's newly improved facility in Steinbach, Manitoba marking the completed transfer of the company's natural health products manufacturing business unit.

Already one of the southeastern Manitoba city's largest employers, Valeant Canada's new facility has created 60 new and qualified jobs in the Steinbach community.

Present on the day will be Mr. Douglas McCartney, Senior Executive Director, Science, Innovation and Business Development; Ms. Tracey Maconachie, CEO of Life Sciences Association of Manitoba; Mr. Chris Goertzen, Mayor of Steinbach; Mr. Kent Ledingham, President of the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Michael Pelini, Vice President, Technical Operations, Valeant facility, Steinbach.
