New development at the UdeM, new momentum for Quebec
MONTREAL, Nov. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend the Business Voices Desjardins Business Luncheon of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal on Tuesday, November 30, at noon. Dr. Guy Breton, Rector of the Université de Montréal, will be the guest speaker.
In his first big public appearance since being appointed to his position, the UdeM's rector will discuss the ways in which he intends to instil his institution with a fresh impetus in order to ensure that it develops to its full potential for the coming decades. He will also speak about the UdeM's major projects including the future science pavilion in Outremont. And finally, he will address the issue of a new model for university funding that could put an end to the government, institutions, and students working at cross-purpose.
