MONTRÉAL, Feb. 26, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Dr. Tarik Möröy, President and Scientific Director of the IRCM (Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal), and Dr. Gail Ouellette, President and Executive Director of the RQMO (Regroupement québécois des maladies orphelines/Quebec Coalition of Orphan Diseases), are inviting media representatives to a press conference, which will be highlighting the International Rare Disease Day.
During this event, the announcement of a new partnership between both organizations will be made. In order to capture the importance of this collaboration for patients, the press conference will include the testimony of a person suffering from a rare disease. A conference about rare disease as well as a Rare Show – a first of its kind in Quebec – with information booths about rare diseases, which will also be accessible to the public.
