MONTREAL, May 6 /CNW Telbec/ - The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal invites the media to attend its Desjardins business luncheon on Friday, May 7, 2010, at noon. Kent Nagano, Musical Director of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, will be our guest speaker.
Over the past four years, Kent Nagano has directed an orchestra that has carved out a leading place for itself on both local and international stages. Mr. Nagano will speak about the need to establish strong institutions that contribute to leadership, growth, and Montréal's exceptional quality of life. He will therefore take advantage to speak about the new concert hall for Montréal citizens, which will be inaugurated at the beginning of the 2011 season and which is a testament to the concerted action of this institution and Quebec government authorities. This new building, which will host the OSM, will strengthen the institution's position as a key player on the city's cultural scene.
