An international event with a strong environmental message
MONTREAL, Jan. 31, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal (MIM) and the Montreal Botanical Garden—A Space for Life invite you to a press conference on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10:30 AM to kick off the competition Mosaïcultures Internationales Montréal 2013 - Land of Hope (MIM2013), with the Mayor of Montreal, Mr. Michael Applebaum, and Chairman of the Board of Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal, Mr. Louis L. Roquet.
A highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the maquette for the featured work, The Tree of Birds. Various aspects of the exciting program will also be revealed and the institutional partners announced.
Back in Québec after showing in Japan and China, the spectacular exhibition will open on June 22, 2013 and continue through till September 29 at the Montreal Botanical Garden—A Space for Life. MIM2013 brings together some 200 horticulturists and forty horticultural works from, among others, Europe, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa.
