MONTRÉAL, Aug. 10th, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - RAP Jeunesse and the Society for the Celebrations of Montréal's 375h Anniversary invite the media to the Les Jeux de la rue celebrate Montréal! event. The Jeux de la rue ambassador, Andy Mailly-Pressoir will also be there to get kids to move at Jarry Park on Wednesday August from 2 to 8pm.
More than 800 kids from 12 of Montréal's boroughs will face off in soccer and basketball play off games and over 4000 youths between the ages of 12 and 24 are expected to attend the event at Jarry Park on August 16. Free to attend and open to all, Les Jeux de la rue celebrate Montreal! allows kids to be active and discover new sports, participate in open street hockey, cricket, flag football and bubble soccer open tournaments, as well as varied activities such as the Duvernay-Tardif Foundation obstacle course, slacklining, skateboarding and dance.
