Media invitation - Les trois mousquetons: The successful ascent of the three
summits will culminate in the ascent of a fourth named D'Artagnan
MONTREAL, April 13 /CNW Telbec/ - As part of the project titled Les trois mousquetons, Mr. Pierre Bruneau, the spokesman for the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau, is proud to invite the public and media representatives to join in the ascent of a fourth summit, Mount-Royal, on Thursday, April 15, 2010. Expected to attend this symbolic march are public personalities and the families and friends of children receiving treatment at the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau at CHU Sainte-Justine. Among these children will be our three valiant musketeers, Émilie Dagenais, Kassandra Dufour and Raphaël Hamel.
Leaving from the Beaver Lake Pavilion on Mount-Royal, the families will make their way to the Mount-Royal chalet. There, participants will share a special moment with Pierre Bruneau, Benoît Gagnon and Daniel Boucher, who will report on their experiences live from Everest Base Camp and from the summits of Mount Elbrous and Mount Kilimanjaro (respectively). The proceeds raised by this event will also be announced. To take part in this walk, the population is invited to arrive at 9:15 a.m.

Pierre Bruneau, Benoît Gagnon and Daniel Boucher, who will speak to participants live from Everest Base Camp, Mount Elbrous and Mount Kilimanjaro (respectively).

Les trois mousquetons
This ambitious project will involve the simultaneous ascent of three mountains on three different continents, with the objective of reaching their respective summits on the same day. In April 2010, therefore, three teams of climbers (61 in total) will attempt the ascent to Everest Base Camp (Asia) and to the summits of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa) and Mount Elbrous (Europe). The three summits will be reached on Thursday, April 15, 2010.
