Media invitation - Major donation from the Irving Ludmer Family Foundation to create the Ludmer Centre for Neuroinformatics and Mental Health

MONTREAL, Sept. 20, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Douglas Mental Health University Institute and the Jewish General Hospital invite members of the media to attend the announcement of a major donation from the Irving Ludmer Family Foundation, which will be held on Monday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m. This donation will create the Ludmer Centre for Neuroinformatics and Mental Health.

For the occasion, Ms Lynne McVey, RN, MSc, Executive Director of the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and Dr. Hartley S. Stern, MD, Executive Director of the Jewish General Hospital will welcome Mr. Irving Ludmer, president of the Irving Ludmer Family Foundation. They will be joined by Dr. Michael Meaney, PhD, Scientific Director of the Ludmer Centre for Neuroinformatics and Mental Health, all of whom will give speeches and be available for individual interviews. Also present and available for interviews, Dr. Alain Gratton, Ph.D., Interim Scientific Director of the Research Centre of the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and Dr. Roderick R. McInnes, CM, MD, PhD, FRSC Director of the Lady Davis Institute, Jewish General Hospital.
