On the 150th anniversary of Canada and the 375th anniversary of the founding of Montreal,
the Fondation du Grand Séminaire de Montréal is pleased to invite media representatives to attend
an inter-religious panel focussing on how to promote dialogue between religions and cultures
on Friday November 17 at 10:00 a.m.
Leaders of 5 different faiths and cultures will partake in this panel to discuss the theme of
Learning to live together in harmony in 2017
Guest speakers participating in this discussion will be :
Monseigneur Christian Lépine, Catholic Archbishop of Montreal
The Right Reverend Mary Irwin-Gibson, Bishop of the Anglican Church of Montreal
Iman Mahdi Tirkawi, representing the Muslim Association of Canada
Dr. David Bensoussan, former President of the Communauté Sépharade Unifiée du Québec
and
Mr. Jean-Louis Fontaine, Innu and Ethnohistorian
The panel will be held at the Grand Séminaire de Montréal,
moderated by Ms. Sabrina Di Matteo, Director of the Centre étudiant Benoit-Lacroix.
