Media Invitation - Montréal Space for Life Invites You to Come Watch The Last Total Eclipse of the Moon Until 2019 Français
MONTRÉAL, Sept. 23, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Montréal Space for Life invites media representatives to join the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium team on Sunday, September 27, starting at 8:30 p.m., to watch the last total eclipse of the Moon that will be visible from Quebec until 2019.
Members of the public are also invited to attend the event, where our science interpreters and amateur astronomers from the Société d'astronomie du Planétarium de Montréal will be happy to answer questions. They'll even be happy to let people see the event up close, through their telescopes.
Special activity – Observation of the lunar eclipse*
Sunday, September 27, starting at 8:30 p.m.
Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium – 4801, avenue Pierre-de Coubertin, Montréal
Pay parking at 3000, rue Viau – Viau metro station
* The activity may be cancelled without prior notice if it is overcast or raining.
Also, there will be no shows in the Planetarium's theatres that evening.
