Great Gardening Weekend – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (all day)
Learn about different plants' light requirements and get some tips on planning your own garden in terms of its exposure. It's also a great opportunity to meet all kinds of growers of rare and unusual plants and designers of innovative garden accessories.

Henry Teuscher Award ceremony
This year's award goes to Claude Vallée, agronomist, professor and technological innovation co-ordinator, for his remarkable career in ornamental horticulture. He was the mastermind behind the "Exceptionnelles®" program, a unique Quebec program that showcases new high-performance plants.

Inauguration of the renewed Reception Gardens
This was the first large-scale renewal of the Reception Gardens since they first opened in 1937. Come admire the cascading pools, the main fountain and paths, restored according to the original plans drawn up by Henry Teuscher, the Botanical Garden's designer.

IMPORTANT
The Great Gardening Weekend will be held from May 22 to 24.
Please note that the Botanical Garden and Insectarium will not be taking part in Montréal Museums Day on Sunday, May 24.
