Media invitation - Official launch of the festivities and program of Montréal Pride 2013, presented by TD

MONTREAL, Aug. 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Organizing Committee of Montréal Pride invites you to a press conference on Monday, August 12, at the Delta Centre-Ville Hotel. Mr. Éric Pineault, President of Montréal Pride will be joined by the Grand marshals, Mr. Gilbert Baker, the American artist and civil rights activist who created the Rainbow Flag, Jej Perfekcyjność, LGBT activist from Poland and Dr. Karine Igartua, a psychiatrist advocating for sexual minorities, along with Montréal Pride's spokesperson, Mr. Jasmin Roy, and the guests of honour, Nicolas Vandal, Vicky Lauzon and Maude Chartrand Paquette.

In addition, Mr. David Pinsonneault, Senior Vice President, Business Banking, Quebec and Atlantic and Co-chair, Quebec Market, TD Bank Group, will be present to outline TD Bank Group's involvement in the festivities for a fourth consecutive year as the Official Presenter of the event. The speakers will also present various aspects of the event program. The following artists will also be present: Michel Tremblay, Nanette Workman (to be confirmed), Claudette Dion, Yoland Sirard, Mario Lirette, Monique St-Onge, Michel Stax, Pierre Perpall, Émily Bégin, Guillaume Lemay-Thivièrge, Andrée-Anne Leclerc, Andie Duquette, Jason Roy Léveillé, Benoît McGinnis, Marc Angers, Jean-Sébastien Lavoie, Julie Anne Saumur, Michel Dorion and Chouchoune.
