MONTREAL, Sept. 19, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The de Gaspé Beaubien Foundation, Ottawa Riverkeeper and Blue Legacy invite you to hear a debrief of the expedition—which is currently underway—and the initial report of observations of the current state of the Ottawa River.

Alexandra Cousteau, a member of the Blue Legacy expedition team, takes pictures to create three short documentaries on specific subjects: the quality of the water in the river, the impact of dams on biodiversity, and the impact of a lack of joint governance on the river.
During the post-expedition press conference on September 23, Ottawa Riverkeeper will use the opportunity to release the results of water quality tests.
You may remember that the River Mission project aims to mobilize local communities and the people of Québec to protect the Ottawa River, one of the most important rivers in Canada.
