MONTREAL, Feb. 27, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Despite an uncertain economic environment and volatile raw materials prices, La Coop fédérée, the largest agri-food company in Quebec, will unveil record results at its 90th annual general meeting.
Media representatives are cordially invited to a press conference where the organization's President, Mr. Denis Richard, will explain the La Coop fédérée recipe for success, a recipe related to recent sound acquisitions, a pork sector that increased sharply, and a cooperative model that is doing remarkably well in times of crisis.
The senior management team will also present highlights of fiscal 2011, the first quarter results of 2012 and the objectives La Coop fédérée has for this International Year of Cooperatives, which coincides with its 90th birthday.
