Media Invitation - Productivity and Prosperity in Quebec - 2010 Overview

MONTREAL, Sept. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - The HEC Montréal Centre for Productivity and Prosperity invites media representatives to a press conference to mark the release of the 2010 Overview of Productivity and Prosperity in Quebec. The Overview raises a number of points, including:

• compared with OECD countries, Quebec comes in just behind Spain and slightly ahead of Italy;
• Quebec's economic gap stems largely from structural factors;
• labour productivity remains one of the main sources of Quebec's standard of living gap with its neighbours;
