Media invitation - Program for MURAL public art festival, Saint-Laurent Boulevard, to be announced

MONTREAL, May 6, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The media are invited to a press conference on May 14, 2013 at the Salon St-Laurent in Montreal's Hotel 10, held by the Société de développement du boulevard Saint-Laurent (SDBSL) to announce the official program for MURAL's inaugural edition.

This international public art festival, intended to celebrate creativity, is expected to transform Saint-Laurent Boulevard into a genuine open-air museum showcasing the talents of local and international artists. The street will be closed to traffic for the festival, from June 13 to 16.

This annual event, a unique gathering in the northeast region of the continent, will bring together the world's avant-garde of the visual arts and help strengthen Montreal's position as an indisputable artistic hub in North America.
