Food Banks Québec and Moisson Montréal report on the use of emergency food aid.
MONTREAL, Oct. 23, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are cordially invited to the release of the 2012 Hunger Count for Montreal and all of Quebec. This annual publication reports on the use of emergency food aid services throughout Quebec and within Montreal, based on results of a survey carried out in March.
Co-presenters are Zakary O. Rhissa and Dany Michaud, executive directors of Food Banks Québec and Moisson Montréal respectively. The event will be held at 105 Ontario Street East, which houses Action Centre-Ville and the Centre d'entraide et de ralliement familial (CERF) - two food community organizations that supply emergency food aid and receive foodstuff from Moisson Montréal.
Also present and available for interviews will be Kathleen Gagnon, executive director of Moisson Laval; Catherine Boyer, executive director of Moisson Rive-Sud; Yamina Bessar, executive director of Action Centre-ville and Guy Cournoyer, director of the CERF.
