MONTRÉAL, Aug. 6, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - The Organizing Committee of the Montréal Pride Festival invites you to a press conference today, August 6, at the Écomusée du fier monde. Éric Pineault, President of Montréal Pride will be joined by the Grand marshals, Jacq Brasseur, Cofounder of the Rainbow Coalition of Yellowknife (Canada), Dominique Lavergne, Ms. Leather Montréal 2017, activist (Canada), Julie Lemieux, Très-Saint-Rédempteur Mayor (Canada), Kennedy Olango, Leader and Mobilizer within the Kenyan LGBTQ community (Kenya) and Dany Turcotte, TV host and Comedian (Canada). Sandy Duperval and Jordan Dupuis, 2018 Montréal Pride Festival's ambassadors, will also be present.

In addition, Stephan Bourbonnais, Senior Vice President and regional Manager, Eastern Canada, TD Wealth Management at TD Bank Group, as well as Patrice Lavoie, Corporate Director of Public Affairs, Press Relations and Social Media for Loto-Québec, will be present to outline their involvement in the festivities as the Official Presenters of the event.

Christine St-Pierre, Québec Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie, will be present to award Montréal Pride with the medal Hommage 50^e anniversaire du Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec.

The speakers will also present various aspects of the event program. The following artists will also be present: Michel Dorion, Rita Baga, Van Hechter, DJ On1T, Bamboo Hermann, DJ Phoenix Lord, DJ Giant, Tranna Wintour, Thomas Leblanc, Crystal Slippers, Laurence Nerbonne, Donzelle, KDN Company, Naya Ali, Gerard Reyes and Jimmy Moore.
