Media Invitation - Significant new funding for research into smart grid security at Concordia University Français
MONTREAL, Nov. 29, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - On Thursday, December 1, Concordia University will inaugurate the five-year NSERC/Hydro-Québec Thales Senior Industrial Research Chair on Smart Grid Security.
Mourad Debbabi, associate dean of Research and Graduate Studies in Concordia's Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, will be principal chairholder.
Debbabi will work with leading industry co-sponsors Hydro-Québec and Thales to conduct cutting-edge research into smart grid security to detect, prevent, mitigate and recover from cyber-physical attacks to Quebec's power systems.
