Media Invitation - Some of Poker's Big Guns are en Route for the Final Event of the World Series of Poker Circuit at Casino du Lac-Leamy

GATINEAU, QC, Nov. 22, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC), the biggest poker tournament to take place in Québec this year, is under way at the Casino du Lac-Leamy.

Today at 1:00 p.m., Day 3 of the Main Event of the WSOPC, which started on Wednesday, gets under way. Eighteen players are at the table, including some well-known poker champions. The General Manager of the Casino du Lac-Leamy, Alain Miroux, will welcome the players and open the tournament. Mr. Miroux will be available afterward to respond to questions from media.

The names of the ten players who will make up the final table of the Main Event could be known this afternoon. They are playing for a prize pool of $400,000, of which more than $100,000 will go to the winner. The winner of the Main Event qualifies for the national championship of the WSOPC, which takes places at Caesar's in Atlantic City next spring, as well as the coveted WSOPC ring.
