Mr. Cousineau
will speak about the challenges Loto-Québec faces in all of its sectors of activity, and about the way in which Loto-Québec intends to meet them. He will report on the development of Loto-Québec, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Loto-Québec must cope with a permanent dilemma, that is, maximizing the economic benefits of its activities on the one hand, while minimizing the social costs resulting from games of chance and gambling on the other. He will discuss the efforts they are constantly making to maintain this balance.
The speech will be delivered in French only.
