Loto-Québec

MONTREAL , Nov. 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend the Rio Tinto Alcan Hot issues@lunch of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 , at noon. Alain Cousineau, President and CEO, Loto-Québec, will be our guest speaker.

Mr. Cousineau will speak about the challenges Loto-Québec faces in all of its sectors of activity, and about the way in which Loto-Québec intends to meet them. He will report on the development of Loto-Québec, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Loto-Québec must cope with a permanent dilemma, that is, maximizing the economic benefits of its activities on the one hand, while minimizing the social costs resulting from games of chance and gambling on the other. He will discuss the efforts they are constantly making to maintain this balance.
