WENDAKE, QC, May 30, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ -The First Nations Education Council (FNEC) will hold the fifth edition of its Inter-school Games from May 31 to June 3, 2012, at Collège Édouard-Montpetit in Longueuil. The goals of the Inter-school Games are to enable First Nations students to experience something challenging and to promote healthy living. This activity is even more important to First Nations youth, since they do not benefit from the funds needed to organize sports and recreational activities. This year, over 500 participants from many communities are expected at the event, which includes volleyball, basketball, floor hockey as well as track and field.
