Health and Creative Industries: An Inspiring and Winning Partnership
MONTRÉAL, Nov. 5, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Michel Leblanc, president and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, is pleased to invite members of the press to the Montreal Summit on Innovation (MSI), an initiative of the Quartier de l'innovation, under the leadership of the ÉTS and McGill University.
The Summit will explore synergies between health care and the creative industries. Local and international speakers will present best practices at the intersection of the creative industries and health.
A Hacking Health Design Challenge will also take place.
At a time when we are facing many health challenges, the result of a growing and aging population and a sustained increase in structural costs for health care, our energy and capacity to innovate must contribute to our well-being as a society. The city's creative industries, which have built an international reputation, are an undeniable asset to help tackle these major challenges.
